CCSJ Love Stories | Nick & Aida’s Suburban Dream

As soon as Nick and Aida saw 101 Thomas Avenue listed as “Coming Soon,” they knew this one had something special. Aida grew up in nearby Drexel Hill, so the move from East Falls, where she and Nick bought their first home together, to Delco’s Broomall neighborhood was a natural fit. Their growing family was looking for more space and a backyard for baby Alana and their gorgeous 107lb Labrador Retriever, Tony, and 101 Thomas Ave. delivered!

What made you decide this house was “the one?”

As soon as we saw it as a “coming soon” we just had this great feeling! We asked to see it right away and from the moment we pulled up, we knew that this was the house we would make so many memories in. We loved the stone fireplace, the cozy basement, the gorgeous front yard, and so many other parts of this home!

What made you choose broomall?

We love the neighborhood feel Broomall gives with tons of beautiful parks, great shopping and amazing schools.

Everyone is so friendly! We’ve already met so many amazing neighbors who are so helpful with great recommendations for anything we could need! We also love how dog friendly it is.

What’s your favorite local spot to frequent?

We love Apple Walnut cafe! It’s a great spot for a quick and delicious bite with the baby on a Saturday morning!

What’s your favorite room in the house?

Our favorite room is probably our living room. We just love the fireplace especially in those cold months. Nothing quite beats a hot drink, a good movie, a comfy couch and warmth of a fireplace.

What’s one thing in your home you can’t live without?

Well anyone from Philadelphia would probably agree but our DRIVEWAY and parking in general!

How would you describe your home buying experience?

Incredible! Cecile helped us and supported us every step of the way! Everyone always says how tough the process can be - and don’t get me wrong it is hard - but with Cecile and her team it was an amazing experience that could not have gone smoother! We are so thankful, and we have her and the team to thank for landing us in our home!

What have you done to your house to make it your own?

We redid all the floors to give it a fresh look, painted every wall in the house and made a ton of little changes to just add a more modern look!

How would you describe the way you’ve styled your home?

Well we love the more modern look but with a baby and a 107lb dog we do the best we can with style!

Describe your home in 3 words:

Cozy, welcoming, bright
